This is a picture I took of my Mum sitting on a beach on Floreana in the Galapagos Islands. I can see from the pictures XIF data that it was taken at 9.55 am on the 27th February 2012. We’d just been dropped off on a beach by a Zodiac rubber dinghy. It was our first full day in the Galapagos Islands. She was putting on her sun block before we walked across the North tip of Floreana. I never imagined we would lose her just a year and a half afterwards. She was so fit and lively. Sad days just now. Anyway as you can see it was a happy time and those are the ones to remember.
